Paraplegia Injury
Attorneys in Arizona, Nevada, California, and nationwide

At Blackman Legal Group, our personal injury attorneys have more than 30 years of experience helping injured people find physical and financial recovery after serious accidents. We have a track record of obtaining financial settlements and verdicts for people who have suffered catastrophic injuries, such as paraplegia, quadriplegia, closed head injuries, and traumatic brain injuries.

If you’ve had a spine injury or nerve damage from a car accident, truck accident, motorcycle accident, bicycle accident, pedestrian accidents, train or plane crash, or from using a dangerous product, getting maximum financial compensation for your injuries will be critical to your future. You may need ongoing medical treatment, rehabilitation, or adaptive equipment to maximize your independence. Contact Blackman Legal group by e-mail; let our paraplegia injury attorneys help you along the road to recovery. Call toll free: 1-866-528-8115.

Paraplegia
Paraplegia is the result of a traumatic spinal cord injury in the thoracic disks of the back. It affects feeling and movement in the lower part of the body. The extent of your loss will depend on the seriousness of the injury. A “complete” spinal cord injury results in paralysis: the complete loss of feeling and movement. With an “incomplete” spinal cord injury, you may have feeling but no control of movement, or control of one side and not the other, or a limited range of motion. The effect of a spinal cord injury, including a cauda equine lesion in the lumbar region of the spine, will be different for each person.

Spinal Cord Injuries

This medical illustration was created for use during a personal injury trial. The illustrations were professionally created from our client’s x-rays and MRIs to accurately depict the injuries to our client's neck. Illustrations such as these make it easy for members of the jury to understand the seriousness of the person's injury, and to understand the testimony of surgeons and physicians as they talk about the injury and its short- and long-term impact on quality of life for the injured person.

One of the things that sets Blackman Legal Group apart from other law firms is the production and use of high-quality illustrations such as these.

Bringing a Paraplegia Lawsuit
There are three parts of any personal injury lawsuit: proving that another party caused the accident and should be held financially liable, providing evidence about the extent of the injuries, and demonstrating the costs of that spinal cord injury over the course of a lifetime.

At Blackman Legal Group our paraplegia injury lawyers work with a variety of specialists to gain a clear understanding of the causes of the accident. Reckless or negligent actions on the part of an individual may be one cause, but a defective product or a design defect may also be involved, or a property owner may be partly to blame. At Blackman Legal Group we seek out every possible source of financial compensation to ensure that you receive the financial compensation you need and deserve.
